Magazine subscriptions are fun way to encourage your child to read more. A child who is hesitant to read a novel will often pick up a magazine if he finds one that talks about what he is interested in. Here’s an article I wrote , several years ago about the importance of free reading time. Amazon has 10 magazines on sale through today. My favorite is Real Simple Magazine.
