2. What is the cost of the school? Are there any additional fees?
3. What is included in the cost? Will they provide a loaner laptop? Internet fees?
4. What are the expectations for parents?

6. How many hours a day will my child be expected to be on the computer? Are there set times?
7. Do you have any support groups in my area?

1. Set up some accountability where they check in with you daily/weekly to show you their progress.
 2. Keep communication with the school open and speak with their teachers via email often.
3. Provide them with a good study area.
4. Help them set daily goals for completing work.
5. Get them involved with other homeschool students in your community.

How Much Does Online Home Schooling Cost?

There are many free online homeschool options. K-12 operates in many states across the nation and is often offered free of charge to residents.  The other popular free programs include Insight, Kaplan and Connections Academy. From there you will find more pricey options, many of which have a religious affiliation. Some Universities also offer online homeschooling including Stanford University . Some  Community Colleges offer online classes which are perfect for high school students or accelerated elementary students. In California, Community College Courses are free for high school students.
