1. They want a flexible schedule, where the parent can plan out their school day
2. They like the option to study in a more relaxed environment
3. The parents or children (or both) don’t want to get up early in the morning
When I first started home schooling I was a wreck. First, it took me forever to dive in. I just felt like I needed one person that I could identify with and respected before I could sign-on. When that hurdle was over, I moved on to stage 2-being self-concious of what other people would think.
Record Keeping can take up a lot of time. We need to keep good records for our children and our state requirements but it’s just not that much fun for most homeschool parents
